Getting started
How quickly can I launch my first campaign?
Most brands go from signup to first campaign in under 30 minutes. Connect your Shopify store, pick a Klaviyo segment, choose a template, and you’re live. No design skills or technical setup needed.
What if I don't have Klaviyo or Shopify?
No problem. TouchDrop works with any customer list — simply upload a CSV file with your recipients and we handle printing, personalisation and delivery exactly the same way. Klaviyo and Shopify are optional integrations for brands that want fully automated, trigger-based campaigns.
What Shopify plans does TouchDrop work with?
TouchDrop integrates with all standard Shopify plans — Basic, Shopify, Advanced and Plus — using Shopify’s official OAuth and GraphQL APIs. There are no special plan requirements to get started.
Pricing & plans
How much does a TouchDrop postcard cost?
Per-postcard pricing includes print, postage and delivery anywhere in the UK. Sends of 500–999 are £0.59 each, 1,000–4,999 are £0.57, and 5,000+ are £0.44; smaller runs are £1.80 each. Platform plans start at £39/month with a 20% discount for paying annually.
What's the minimum commitment?
No long-term contracts. Pay month-to-month and cancel anytime. Postcards themselves are pay-as-you-go, so you only pay for what you send.
Why do prices differ by region?
Postcards are printed and posted by a local print network in each country, so per-card rates track local print and postage costs in local currency: AUD on touchdrop.com.au for Australia, GBP on touchdrop.co for the UK. Each region’s site always shows its own pricing.
Tracking & attribution
How does the QR tracking and attribution work?
Every postcard gets a unique QR code linked to a unique Shopify discount code. When a customer scans and purchases, we attribute that revenue directly to the campaign — no guesswork, no modelling, just real tracking down to the individual recipient.
How does TouchDrop compare to email or SMS for retention?
Direct mail reaches the customers email and SMS miss. A postcard physically arrives in the mailbox and is held in hand, with much higher attention than an inbox preview. TouchDrop is designed to run alongside Klaviyo (not replace it), so you can use the same segments to trigger postcards in the moments where email fatigue is highest — win-back, post-purchase thank-yous, replenishment and VIP.
Personalisation & design
Can I personalise each postcard with the customer's name and offer?
Yes — every postcard is individually personalised. Drag merge variables like {{first_name}}, {{discount_code}}, {{qr_url}} and {{expiry_date}} onto your design in the editor, and we generate a unique Shopify discount code and QR for every recipient automatically.
Can I use my own branding and design on the postcards?
Absolutely. Upload your own front and back artwork as PNG or PDF (210×99mm at 300 DPI), or start from one of our Canva/Figma-compatible templates. The front is a full creative canvas; the back keeps a reserved area for the address block, postage and return-to-sender line, leaving the rest for your brand colours, logo and message.
Printing & delivery
Do you handle printing and fulfilment?
Yes, completely. Once a campaign is live, TouchDrop generates the postcards and sends them to our trusted UK printing house. Cards are printed locally and posted directly to your customers — there’s nothing for you to organise, export or manage on the fulfilment side.
How long does it take for postcards to arrive?
Once a campaign runs, postcards are printed by our UK printing house and lodged with Royal Mail within 1–2 business days, and typically arrive in customer mailboxes a few business days later. See our print & delivery guide for the full timeline.
Which countries does TouchDrop operate in?
TouchDrop currently operates in Australia (touchdrop.com.au) and the United Kingdom (touchdrop.co), with more regions on the way. Your account’s region sets your currency and the local print network that produces your cards, so you always work with domestic printing and postage.
Do you ship postcards outside the UK?
Not yet; cross-border sending is on our roadmap. Every TouchDrop region prints and delivers locally: campaigns on touchdrop.com.au are printed in Australia for Australian addresses, and campaigns on touchdrop.co are printed in the UK for UK addresses. We automatically validate every address against the local postal format before printing.
What happens if a postcard is undeliverable or returned?
We filter invalid and incomplete addresses before printing, so you don’t pay for postcards that can’t be delivered. Every card also includes a small “If undelivered, please return to…” line on the back so Royal Mail can return any that don’t reach the customer.
Data & integrations
What if I already run email campaigns through Klaviyo?
TouchDrop works alongside your existing Klaviyo flows, not against them. Use the same segments you’ve already built — physical mail reaches customers who ignore email, so the two channels complement each other rather than compete.
Do you support suppression lists and customers who opt out?
Yes. TouchDrop runs a 45-day global suppression window so the same person can’t receive another postcard too soon, and a rolling 90-day frequency cap of 3 postcards per recipient. You can also manually flag any customer as suppressed (permanently or until a specific date) and they’ll be excluded from every future campaign.
Is my customer data secure?
Yes. All data is encrypted at rest and in transit (AES-256-GCM). We never sell or share your customer data, and your Shopify and Klaviyo connections use OAuth with minimal permissions.
Agencies & multi-brand
Can agencies manage multiple brands from one TouchDrop account?
Yes. Multi-brand management is built into the Scale plan, and we run a Partners programme for agencies and consultants with 15% recurring revenue share (stepping up to 20% once you have 5+ active clients), plus a year-2 revenue share for partners who manage accounts on their clients’ behalf.
